In this video Oprah rejects the God of the bible because love and jealousy can't gel with her spirit.

If my sons call everybody in the neighborhood daddy, I should be jealous. If Rebecca spends more time with another man than she does with me, I should be jealous. The boys have one daddy. Rebecca has one husband. If no jealousy was stirred in those situations, my dedication to my family would be questioned.
There is only one God of the bible. He has revealed himself through his word and through his son. Jesus is either who he said he was, or a horrible impostor who should be shunned and ridiculed.
If humans, who are created in his image, worship anything other than him and he isn't jealous, then he doesn't love us. It should humble us to hear that the creator of the earth is jealous for our love. Our sinful nature turns the ultimate compliment into a characteristic to reject and run from.

Good post Danny, I am ashamed that there are still too many idols in my life, that pull me away from my Savior. Knowing HIS jealous love for me, I want to flee the idols and run into HIS Loving arms.
Two passages of a sermon delivered on Sunday morning, March 29th, 1863, by the Rev. C. H. SPURGEON, on Jealousy:
"Brethren, the whole history of the human race is a record of the wars of the Lord against idolatry. The right hand of the Lord hath dashed in pieces the enemy and cast the ancient idols to the ground. Behold the heaps of Nineveh! Search for the desolations of Babylon! Look upon the broken temples of Greece! See the ruins of Pagan Rome! Journey where you will, you behold the dilapidated temples of the gods and the ruined empires of their foolish votaries. The moles and the bats have covered with forgetfulness the once famous deities of Chaldea and Assyria. The Lord hath made bare his arm and eased him of his adversaries, for Jehovah, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God."
"Dear friends, let this jealousy which should keep us near to Christ be also a comfort to us, for if we be married to Christ, and he be jealous of us, depend upon it this jealous husband will let none touch his spouse. Joel tells us that the Lord is jealous for his land, and Zechariah utters the word of the Lord, "I am jealous for Jerusalem, and for Zion with a great jealousy;" and then he declares that he will punish the heathen. And will he not avenge his own elect who cry unto him day and night? There is not a hard word spoken but the Lord shall avenge it! Oprah has followed the same path Ted Turner and other "powerful" wealthy people fall into - believing that they have attained increased material success as a result of some superior level of intellect. Bottomline - "Im richer than most so I am smarter than most - about ALL things."
That combined with never being told 'no' breeds a new reality for these people. Oprah has created her own reality (the details of which we probably don't even want). If I could guess, she probably believes she has already attained some level of deity which expains to her why so many people would listen to someone with a TV broadcasting degree.
This was the most eye-opening post yet. Thank you for sharing this. Did you see what she had on today? A guy carrying a baby in his belly. Nuts!!!
