I&#39;m a Christian and at that I&#39;m one who does not have problems with denominations because I don&#39;t believe Christians were intended to be separated by convictions of man yes God can speak to men and convict them but if that conviction does not line up with His word (in context at that) then their conviction is faulty and worthless. I&#39;ve been to the CGT in TN but I never have asked any of them about what they consider to be core doctrine...Whoever wrote the article above I wish I could give you the information to contact me you seem to have a good knowledge of them and I need all the information I can get from reliable sources before I can say anything. A lot makes sense from what I&#39;ve been learning so far when I look at certain members (some gone unfortunately) and what I know of them...I&#39;ll try to check back here every now and then but if the writer of the original paragraph could somehow give me a way to contact them (email preferred) out of public view I have many quesitons. I just saw honest questions. Many of us who have left wonder how those still in CGT are feeling about the blatant dishonesty of the pastor. Of course, we have known for a long time now that the truth was not being told. And we have tried to tell people we love that they were being deceived. But nobody will listen. The loyal support has seemed unwavering. It&#39;s been really hard to understand for all of us, not just Danny. <br /><br />People have chosen Steve Farmer over their own abused family members in all of this. And he has now been proven a liar under oath. Becky was sitting next to him and challenged nothing he said. Can you really blame any of us who have left for wondering if anyone there is ever going to challenge this man? <br /><br />I don&#39;t have relationships with any of you at CGT anymore. I can&#39;t imagine picking up the phone and making a phone call to someone I haven&#39;t talked to in years to ask how they feel about these recent events. It would feel rude and intrusive. I would think you might interpret that as an &#39;I told you so&#39; or some type of satisfaction. So I would never think of doing such a thing. But it&#39;s certainly not because I don&#39;t genuinely want to know your feelings. Actually, I am very curious as to how you and your family view this. At one time, there was nobody I felt closer to than your mother-in-law. I grieve the loss of her friendship to this day.<br /><br />Well, I have said enough.
